Rompecristales
A podcast and subscription plan to help close the gender gap.
With El Observador, we created Rompecristales: a subscription plan for women with a discount equivalent to the pay gap, alongside a podcast series offering information and tools to advance equality.
Six episodes brought together journalists, specialists and prominent voices to discuss topics such as salary negotiation, leadership and gender inequality. Guests included Beatriz Argimón, Uruguay’s first elected female vice president.
Results
With 54,258 streams and a reach of more than 193,000 people, Rompecristales ranked among Uruguay’s 10 most-listened-to podcasts in 2019. At the start of the campaign, women accounted for 70% of new subscriptions.
